Emergency First Aid at Work (Initial)*
Course for nominated first aiders working in a low risk environment. This course will help you meet statutory requirements for your working environment provided a risk assessment has been carried out and indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only is sufficient for your workplace.

This course covers bleeding, minor and severe, burns, seizure, shock, primary survey, resuscitation (Adult), role of the first aider, choking (Adult), communication and casualty care.
This course has an annual refresher window.
Annual refresher is for those with an in-date EFAW qualification and is a ½ day course.
Course prerequisites
Physically fit and able to carry out the practical elements of this course.
Course Duration
This is a 1 day course.
Student number
Minimum of 6 persons, maximum 12.
Validation Period
Certification is valid for 1 year.
