Water Rescue Technician*
This course is designed for those who, as part of their role, will respond to water rescue incidents within their company/organisation.
Learners are developed across a wide range of skills and types of water, in order to give them a solid grounding in a broad range of water risks. This course focus’ on developing the learners as rescuers and gives them experiences and awareness that will help them both assess and reduce the risk of live water rescues in various hydrology’s.
Students will have their judgement and skills tested throughout the course, from basic bankside rescues, wading rescues, swimming rescues and rescues using craft.
Course prerequisites
Physically fit and able to carry out the practical elements of this course.

This is a 5 day course.
Student number
Minimum of 4 persons, maximum 6.
Validation Period
Certification is valid for 3 years.
